Modern Warfare 2 DLC named
"Stimulus Package" due out this month.
Activision has said that the Modern Warfare 2 DLC announced this week is called "Stimulus Package". It's out on 30th March.
To celebrate, Xbox Live Silver members will be able to play Modern Warfare 2 online between 12th March and 15th March in the hope their heads and credit cards will be turned enough to splurge on a Gold sub.
Earlier this week developer Infinity Ward said Modern Warfare 2 had been played online by 25 million people since its launch last November.

Wait...you can't possibly be accusing Activision of wanting to make money?!

And Eurogamer - do you really think this deserves a news item to itself?
Sold it anyway.
Paid for Battlefield Bad Company 2 with the proceeds.

I was always under the impression that Microsoft wanted silver subs to be rounded up into camps and gassed in the showers.

@Deckard: I'd argue that MW2 has better infantry combat, but BC2 is better overall for its combined arms approach. The same was true back in the old days of CoD1 vs BF1942.

Yesterday I got FF13 for £4 after trading in MW2 (thanks gamestation, and price matching Asda), in fact I got close to the same money back that I paid for the game originally.
So I wont be buying the mappack, and I am sure others will soon realize there is a premium trade in value on this MW2 still and some other great games to replace it with.

The last lot of DLC for COD4 didn't add anything to the game and I doubt this will either.
I've got a nice round 1,000 gamerpoints for MW2 and I think that will do me nicely.
I'm afraid, probably like everyone else I'm having too much fun on BF:BC2. Now if I could only fly those helicopters.
