MGS not being ported to PS2 after all News
PlayStation 2 PSOne PlayStation 3 News by Robert Purchese
It seems the original Metal Gear Solid will not be on a PS2 DVD in the Essential Collection after all.
Yesterday we heard it would, but Konami US has cleared up confusion by saying it will actually appear on two CDs, just like it did on PSone all those years ago.
That brings it in line with the Japanese Essential Collection, too.
The first three games in the Metal Gear Solid series make up The Essential Collection, and those of you in America will be able to grab it from 18th March for USD 29.99.
Unfortunately the set is unconfirmed for Europe, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long for an announcement.
