Metro 2033 DLC is "almost done"

Could be unveiled this week.

Update: Publisher THQ has announced the details.

Original story: 4A Games has revealed that downloadable content for Metro 2033 is imminent.

"Like a fine single malt, the DLC is almost done... we hope to be able to take the wraps off it this week," the developers tweeted, although there were no more details on what to expect.

Metro 2033 is a PC and Xbox 360 first-person shooter largely set beneath the streets of post-apocalyptic Moscow, where evil mutant things roam around and need to be shot repeatedly in the face.

The story is derived from the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky and the environments are bleak but beautiful, with ammo conservation - i.e. not madly panicking and spamming shotgun shells - of paramount importance.
