Wow, this comments section made me angry, and then I got busy with the ignore button and it's great again. Why do these people read PSP reviews when they neither own or want a PSP? Using the ignore button is much more sensible than hunting them down and breaking their legs.

Looking forward to finding out more about Big Boss, Ocelot pre-Outer Heaven. I've got a nasty feeling that by April all the people who imported it will be spanking my inexperienced bum-cakes online though.

Have kept my PSP lying around doing nothing for MONTHS waiting for this game, hoping it was a good enough reason for me to hang onto the PSP. Thankfully it sounds as if it is, although beings a huge MGS fan I'd have bought it regardless of what any reviews said anyway. Does anybody know if this closes the gaps between MGS3 and the original MSX Metal Gear or is there still a bit of story to go?

Nor can I, because it'll mean actually getting to play the damn thing after being teased with cutscenes for so long!

@dahsif

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure I like the "lots of action" part, though. :) Oh well, I'll just give it a spin anyway.

13 EG 9s. I think I have most of them, so I've definitely got my money back on the system.

Am I imagining things, or does this game reverse the X and O button conventions used by every other PSP game? It even seems to confuse the out-of-game menus somehow. Weird. I keep trying to get into this game (dropped $50 after all) but there's something clunky about the UI. Can't seem to get that initial handhold.
