Hmm... I'm not convinced. Fair playto them but considering what WiiWare is capable of, and what we have coming, this does seem... I dunno. Arguably lazy I guess...

I don't think it's lazy. It's a fan service and a rather risky one at that. If you don't know the old mega man titles I doubt this looks very attractive at all. I'm sure they would sell more if it had a modern look but they decided against that. I wouldn't call that lazy but as I said rather a fan service. I like it.

I remember the old Mega Man games. I get the fan service - I'm not a Mega Man fan anyway so maybe I am missing the point.

    But 1000 points?!

Won't the graphics/sprites look 'blown up' and stretched on the big screen?

Hmm it's not really necessary for it to look quite so authentically old though is it? Wasn't there a mega man on the psp that mixed both the old art direction with 3d tech(in a paper mario sort of way(? Sure there was, on the other hand there was also a ds one that used the shitty looking anime cunt stylings of Zero that came out at the same time.

    Sure there was... ;)

I think it's awesome. I would buy a Super Mario Bros 4 or Sonic 4 done in the same way; brand new games made like they would have been on the original platform.

I just wish they'd done SOMETHING to the gfx (at least as an option)

I'm hoping there's an option to play with updated sprites.

Although I keep touting graphics dont matter.. I cant justify paying 10 bucks to go back to playing with nes graphics...
