It looks and sounds rather unimpressive to me.

MoH: Vanguard on the Wii is such an average game to the point of struggling to wonder why we should be excited by this new MoH game.

32-player online for Wii owners sounds quite nice though given that the Wii hasn't really 'done' online much yet.

Finally a first person shooter set in the second world war.
If done right this could be huge.

Having Wii games developed alongside PSP titles is even more of a "hurt" than being developed alongside PS2 ones. Can't say that I'm holding out much hope for this one.

I liked this bit:

Eurogamer: How do you keep things fresh for people who've played several WWII shooters in the past?

Matt Tomprowski: ... There'll be moments when you capture enemy machine gun and artillery gun emplacements ... to mix up the action.

No f**king way.
Really?
Like guns emplacements you can use?
Never thought that would be possible

I wouldn't knock it because of Vanguard, it is being developed by a totally different team.

It's "Tomporowski" btw

Cor that interview was Bland with a capital B.

You might just as well have interviewed an answering machine.

I think it looks good on the PSP.

Should be fun while playing it on the bus, train or when stuck in a traffic jam on the M25 lol

The Medal of Honor series stopped being interesting the minute Infinity Ward left EA and went to work on the vastly superior Call of Duty series. Since then the Medal of Honor games have been gradually getting poorer with each instalment on both the PC and consoles. I have absolutely no interest in this new game whatsoever which begs the question of why I took the time to say all that really!

Erm... 'cos it made me feel a bit better... maybe! LOL

We are really big fans of the early Medal of Honor games like Frontline and Allied Assault

I thought 'Medal of Honor' and 'Medal of Honor: Underground' were the early games? Surprished he didn't mention underground as the theme/objectives sound similar.

While WW2 has been done a million times, I preffer that to anything placed in sicko/psyko enviroments like Bioshock, Halo, Doom etc.!
I Don't whant to run around in some game designers freaking psyko nightmare!

Back to MoH, this on-rails thing, this is not the only single player mode, right? The game is not ONLY on-rails?

God, as if the "not another WW2 game" thing wasn't bad enough. It may as well be "God, not another NORMANDY game". I wonder if developers have noticed that WW2 didn't take place between 1944 and 1944 and didn't take place exclusively in France.
