Marvel UA2 demo on Xbox Live

Thor you might like a try.

Activision has released a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 demo on Xbox Live.

The full game's out but not brilliant, which you'll know if you read our MUA2 review. Perfect demo fodder, then, and not too large at 706MB.

Unfortunately there's no accurate description of what the sampler offers. An enormously inaccurate description would be something like "you fight some cats using bleach". Er, expect an early level and small portion of the superhero roster to beat up the baddies with.

    As someone who loved the first MUA and bought this sequel on release, I can only say its rubbish. And that is being kind to it.

    According to a good friend of mine, is not that bad really... Just pretty much full of bugs. Will check the demo, but I doubt it will warrant a purchase.

    I like it. Bought the DLC yesterday, Psylocke is hot, Carnage is cool. It has a few bugs but they're kinda funny as they don't ruin the game. It has nice touches like a Stan Lee cameo.

    Somewhere an Indie developer has started, feverishly, to make the "you fight some cats using bleach" game. And I'm in.

    They'll be lots of free publicity for it once PETA stick their oar in.

    I loved the first game on the 360 but decided NOT to buy the sequel after hearing about all the bugs in it and how lazy the whole thing supposedly is. After reading NorUraeus' comment I'm glad I didn't buy it now but I will at least give the demo a try when it unlocks for us Silver LIVE users next week.

    I really disliked the first game unfortunately, so is this going to upset a Marvel fanboy even further? Is it more proof that Activision really shouldn't be alllowed th make Marvel games?

    Best give it a try i suppose!

    *nervous*

    Have got this on the rental list at the moment so might give the demo a miss, thoroughly enjoyed the xmen legends games and thought the first MUA was good (4 player co-op helped a lot)... hope they do another, story and characterwise a lot of the hard work is done already

    I really like the two X Men Legends titles, but something about MUA1 didn't seem right. Will try the demo though at some point, just wish Activision wasn't so friendly with 360 and was more neutral.

    @miiiguel

    If you like this i guess you would probably loooove the first. A friend of mine bought the sequel because he loved the first one. He told me he rather complete the first one one more time than playing through the second one after only a few hours play time. He truly hated it.
