Manhunt 2 finally gets release date
It's out sooner than you might think.
Rockstar has finally announced a release date for Manhunt 2 after months (in fact years, come to think of it) of waiting.
The game will be out on Friday October 31st, according to IGN. It'll be available for Wii, PS2 and PSP.
Manhunt 2 has already been out in the US for a whole year, but the UK release was delayed after the British Board of Film Classification refused to give it an age certificate.
Rockstar appealed against the decision and back in March, the BBFC was forced to change its mind.
Now there are just a few weeks to go before we'll be able to play the game. Happy Halloween! Unless you're Keith Vaz.

Hardly Vaz's first brush with corruption allegations! The guy's a serial sleaze-bucket.

....will prob give this a miss because now the PS2 is gathering dust and it seems overcensored....bit of a shame imo last year i prob would've checked it out, gamer sensiblities are skew whiffy should they not take interest in a particular violent title, they should have renamed it GTA:Manhunter or sommat

"wake me up when there's an HD directors cut version on the pc in a couple of years."
Wake me up if they actually manage to turn it into a good game when they do that.

However I got the uncut patch + the PSP version already so I probably will skip the PS2 version.
Play.com has it listed for October 31st since ages btw.

Manhunt 2 didn't even bother to justify the violence by having somebody 'force' you. Basically you could check out gameradar's collection of kill-clips and you wouldn't need to play the game, which was buggy, unresponsiven and pretty drab, graphics-wise.
