You know that bit in the Doors movie, where Jim Morrison flips out because 'Light my Fire' is used in an advert?

That's kind of how I feel about this:) It's a good job I'm not a Beatle or somebody might give a toss:)

"Kids today like rap music, they want songs about pimps and hos, not yellow submarines... "

I didn't read which of the EG'ers was doing the interview when I started into it... after that question I didn't have to. Haha. Go Ellie :)

Can't wait for Rock Band 2. Spent countless hours on the first one. Also interviews with Harmonix always seem more positive than those with Activision.

"Dan Teasdale: I'd challenge that. I don't think we're competing with Guitar Hero.

Dan Teasdale: At least from a design perspective, we're going after two completely different audiences."

Oh shush. Two completely different audiences indeed. Ptah!

I wish you would have asked if we are getting the AC/DC game, they seem to screw us over so much, and the comment about not competing with GHWT is pathetic, either the developer is so out of touch it is unbelievable or he is just an idiot.

"This isn't a press release".

It pretty much is though isn't it? I mean you could basically sum up the article in two sentences -

"Please buy Rock Band 2"
&
"We can't say anything about the Beatles game".

Not really Ellie's or EG's fault just Harmonix not saying much although the comment about them not competing with GH was good for a laugh.

In career mode do you get to narrate Thomas the Tank engine if you play as Ringo?

GLWT, I don't see my parents buying Rock Beatles. I sure as hell never will.

/imagines parents using plastic music peripherals.
/imagines mother deploying star power and rocking out

nah.

I would say, if you have indie bands in the UK that you want to get into Rock Band, post on RockBand.com. We read everything and take it into account.

If this is true I'm off to blanket post the forum with "Give me Arctic Monkeys DLC now!" posts.

personally I'd like to see something by The Sporadics or The Ultrasonic Monkeys (or even Pixelh8 if there was any way of translating it to the controllers. which there probably isn't to be fair)

Sometimes in hip-hop music videos I see a huge Beatles influence. Even Jay-Z game them respect at Biggie's second LP (L.A.D) and the Wu Tang covered a Beatles song.
