Mad Tracks out now

Live Arcade's first racer.

Microsoft has revealed that today's Live Arcade offering is 3D racing game Mad Tracks.

It's available everywhere (apart from Korea) and will cost you 800 points, which translates to almost seven quid, and roughly 10 Euros.

Mad Tracks has been available as a budget-buy for PC since last year, and is made up of nine mini-game challenges and six different races. There are 12 cars to choose from, plus multiplayer support for up to four of you to duke it out on Live or in split-screen mode.

Stackable power-ups like rockets, freezers, oil drops and EMPs are dotted around to help you gain the edge. And the normal spattering of 12 achievements and 200 Gamerscore points are also on offer. Look out for a review later this week.
