Capybara revamping DS delight.

DS delicacy Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is to be revamped for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

Developer Capybara is aiming for a late summer release, which should provide enough time to replace 16-bit sprites with hand-drawn art, add animations and tweak presentation across the board.

Multiplayer is being expanded to cater for four people either competitively or co-operatively, and you'll earn special multiplayer artefacts for taking part.

Finally, single-player will be unlocked allowing previous areas to be revisited, so side quests can be finished and secrets found.

Its nothing like HOMMV .. see the DS review its like a cross between tetris and puzzle quest

Yeah I know, but since 'tatical RPG set in Erathia' is as close as I'm going to get to a new HOMM for now, it'll have to do!

EvilBob, I'm as fervent a M&M / HoM&M fan as any (I even arranged to have HoMM2 ported to my platform of choice), but frankly the King's Bounty series captures more of the M&M "fun" right now than Ubi's offerings. I'd definately recommend that you play those first. That said, as a puzzle-quest spin, Clash of Heroes is a fun game, but it's about as M&M as those playstation action games were (shudders)!

Gave Kings Bounty a good go, I got about 3/4 (and 2 wives) through. It's really good but I miss the resource / town managment aspect, and having multiple heroes to command.

Ah well, I'll go back to hoping that New World Computing mange to resurrect themselves then

This game was great on the DS and I'll possibly pick this up on the PS3 if only for the multiplayer that the DS version was lacking.

Genius! One of the only DS games I played, and the only DS game I played lately. I'm all for XBLA, and this game is so original. I think this is gonna be one of those rare games I'm going to buy twice!
