I'm perfectly happy to wait for the fanboys to pay first, then people like me get it free later on. I'm not that fussed about being at the forefront of a game's life - perfect example:

Among my circle of friends, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is the most played game by far and that's basically dead in the water. Doesn't stop us having fun for hours on end every night we play though!
