Its not that newly created. It is a little obscure though. My missus loves it but I find it a little lacking and I certainly cannot see how they expect to win any fans by putting it out as an XBLA game; not at 800 points anyway! There are, however, some great board games out there crying out for XBLA treatment (many already playable at brettspielwelt or similar). Perhaps some sort of Knizia board game package would be more palatable. Especially since I already own plenty of the physical versions.

Agree entirely, these type of games are great. It has made me think though, a decent implementation of Magic The Gathering for XBLA could be truly wonderful, as long as they implemented multiplayer properly. (I like Ikaruga too, though!) |

Come on Sierra...bring us some updates of old classics like Rise of the Dragon or Mean Streets. Not Lost Cities .

But wasnt xbox live arcde supposed to be about bringing Genuine Arcade games to the masses/home console not newly created obscure card games.
I don't know about that - joined the 360 party a bit late. My most played games on the console have been Carcassonne and Catan and would prefer to see more of that sort of thing than old arcade games. Wouldn't mind more geo wars type stuff - new pick up and play blasters etc but not manky old MAME fodder! Anyway, when's Talisman out? |

Xbox Live was never meant soley for classic Arcade games, infact I far prefer these smaller, indie games. A lot of them are very enjoyable and can be played regularly, where as I rarley touch the classic arcade games that I do own. If that's what you prefer then fine, but XBLA was never designed exclusively for that, not even back in the days of the original Xbox. And remember, it's up to the developers of those games to release them for the 360, not Microsoft. And that aside, Ikaruga was just released, we don't need the marketplace flooded with these silly shooters.

This is arguably Knizia's finest 2 player game. Those of you who haven't played it before are in for a treat.

I loved Carssasonne. One of the best XBLA games imo. I think i will get this when i actually get the time to play it.
