New mode mirrors real-life leagues.

EA has fleshed out the premium Live Season feature for FIFA 10, introducing a new league mode that stays toe-to-toe with all the action from the real world.

It costs. Per league, My Live Season subscriptions are Ł3.99 on PS3 and 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 (Ł3.40/€4.80).

A season-long subscription to all six leagues - Barclay's Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division - saves money at Ł7.99 or 800 MSP (Ł6.80/€9.60).

Each Wednesday, EA will update the My Live Season leagues, tracking results, player form, injuries, suspensions and transfers. The new mode also lets you compare your performance to that of the real-life team. Portsmouth might be top in your world.

My Live Season is only available on PS3 and Xbox 360.

FIFA 10 arrives in demo form tomorrow on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, remember.

I've read a lot of complaints about people using the top teams etc, but I don't see why. If you play with lower teams, they can't run, shoot etc so have to end up passing it into the net...

Not sure about these Live Updates... If i were playing a Single player manager mode then it would be great, and add extra relisim to the game. But having it on whilst playing an online ranked match is just a pain, player missing easy shots cause they had a mare the week before in real life?

the amount of times i have played as sparta prague or northampton town, and beaten the likes of chelsea, liverpool, barca, man u is amazing. It is so much more enjoyable, as you actually start playing sick aswell, so if you get pissed off with people and use a 5* team. You ABSOLUTELY destroy them.
