But they have no money. No money. At all.

I hope it does see the light of day though, the devs deserve it.

Dun dun duh!

Things look ropey, I hope it makes it. After all that dev time it would be disappointing not to see the fruit of all that work

This game has been in development for nearly 3 years, if not more. It was used in War Games II as the game world they used to attack the system. They've been accepting Beta Applications for nearly a year too.

I figure they have a better chance than most getting the backing to put it out with the Stargate connection, I'm surprised it hasn't already been picked up by a publisher wanting to swoop in and claim credit for saving a project.

SLIGHTLY more confident they will eventually deliver a finished product than, say, OnLive will.

But only slightly.

I'm sure this doesn't have the following of the the Star Trek or Star Wars MMOs in development, but Stargate is still a very big deal, and the sheer concept of the franchise does lend itself well to implementation as an MMO. This, if done right, should be a large success for the companies involved, but it increasingly looks like it's slipping away from us.

So fucking sort it out or I'll be round with my hammer and nipple clamps.
