I wonder if you can make a great big statue of the word 'fail' out of Lego in-game, and how much it would cost you.

Real Lego is actually very expensive, but still...

If EA made lego theyd make sure half of it dissolved in the box after six months through fear that the child who owns it might pass it on to his younger sibling.

    > So sensibly in line with a 8 year olds' pocket money then

Less than £2 a week? Yeah, seems so.

As much as I love Computer games the thought of an 8 year old spending every penny of their pocket money on virtual Lego makes me weep a little bit inside

I thought this was going to have some kind of tiered pricing structure - basic play starting free then you have to pay for the additional parts and whatnot. What happened?

I'd sooner buy my kids a real Lego model http://shop.lego.com/ByAge/Product.aspx?... than spend the same money on a year's playing with virtual Lego.

It's too expensive - my little ones are limited to the amount of time they can spend playing games on the computer, so they would not get reasonable value (in my opinion) from this subscription - if it was half of what is being asked then I could see me sub'ing for at least a year to this, as my kids would liekly love it.

I also believe this is over priced. my kids love playing stuff like Runescape and that Penguin game.... they are free and £2.99 a month for premium stuff.... this is the price I personally would have gone in at, its a price where parents just think, ah its small change. As someone else said, kids like to play different things, are limited to time on the computer, £7.49 is probably to help them pay for the development... but longer term they would do better cheaper.

No matter how good this is, and how much awesome stuff you can build with it, it will never be as good as sitting cross-legged on the floor with a huge pile of real Lego!
