LEGO Batman held off by FIFA
You must be Joker! Top 40 inside.
FIFA 09 has reached top spot in the the UK All-Formats Top 40 chart for a second week, holding off newcomer LEGO Batman in the process.
Even so, the Traveller's Tales title was Warner's biggest launch so far, and ended up at two, while LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga are also still in the chart.
The rest of the top flight was fairly familiar: Wii Fit at three, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed at four and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway at five.
Mario Kart Wii kept chugging away at six, followed by Wii Play at seven and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 at eight.
Family Trainer leapt up from 20 to take nine, and Big Beach Sports rounded off the chart at 10.
There were no other new entries of note this week.
There were a couple of other movers and shakers though, with Grand Theft Auto IV advancing from 25 to 14, counterbalanced by Pure's descent from nine to 23, while Mercenaries 2 sagged from 16 to 28.
Slipping off the bottom this week were Warhammer Online, Wario Land: The Shake Dimension, and de Blob. De shame.

But well done FIFA, thoroughly deserved.

Didn't expect NBA to be in the top 40 in the UK, but hope it sells reasonably well here.

One more nail in the coffin for proper games on the Wii. Even the distinctly average ones can't compete with the cavalcade of waggle-fest dross.
