I hate that film grain effect developers keep using.

It doesn't make any sense: you're not supposed to be watching a movie, you're supposed to be the guy there at the time, so why on earth do you see everything like it's a badly recorded film?

Also, it looks shite.

Film grain can be disabled in L4D. It's just something to give that 60's B-Movie look to the game.

As for this new L4D. If it smells like an add on and looks like an add on, I'd argue that it is an add on. So far I've seen and experienced nothing to make me change my mind about this game. 5 new levels and pretty much zero real game improvement. Heck even the new characters look less cool than the original 4.
