LBP PSP coming to US next month

Sony UK targeting "similar time frame".

A release date has been announced for the US version of LittleBigPlanet PSP.

As reported on the US PlayStation blog, it'll be out over there on 17th November.

Sony has yet to reveal when we'll see the game in Europe. However a spokesperson told Eurogamer, "We don't have a date for the UK, but are targeting a similar time frame." Here in time for Christmas, then.

While you're waiting, there are some nice videos and screenshots to look at over on the gamepage.

LBP I can see it being played nicely with those wands they will release which also would make me think that could be played better only on a handheld device with touchscreen or I cant see it a pleasant experience on the small screen. Haven't played LBP neither Id have time for such title since its not in my prefferences. Just thought id say my opinion.

Similar timeframe. I'll believe that when I see it.

PS3 LBP - my most beloved platform game ever.

Bet it sucks on the PSP though.

    Just saying.

I don't agree. I think it will be excellent.

The lack of multiplayer sucks, but i think it will still have all the charm of the PS3 version

i loved LBP on PS3 and i can see no reason why it wont be just as charming on the PSP.

Are there going to be new levels? I'm not sure it'll be quite the same game without multiplayer.

So I assume we in the PAL region will get this game in about 2012. Damn, Europe always gets shafted... :(

Please tell me that this is coming out on UMD, right? Don't care if it's out for PSPgo or not, I just want to know that Sony have not already started stabbing PSPold owners in the back already for the support they offered their handheld platform, by forcing them to upgrade to the PSPgo.

Please don't tell me that's the case. And please don't tell me that you won't be reporting on that and criticising them for it??

Oh, I forgot, for a moment there, I thought I was addressing a truly independent Net journal.

I think putting it on the PSP it will sell, proportionally, just as well as it on the PS3. In my opinion, the PSP handheld is the best platform for such a game and I'm certain it will prosper, providing they release it on UMD.
