LBP going all Pirates of the Caribbean
Add-on pack shivers our timbers.
Media Molecule appears to be readying a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed update for LittleBigPlanet offering new levels and other gizmos.
A leaked list of PS3 Trophies (thanks PS3Trophies.org) says there will be four new stages - Port Royal, Pirate Town, The Frigate and Cursed Bay - plus a battle against mighty octopus the Kraken. We squid you not.
Activities include racing boats and diving for treasure, as one does on the high seas.
Is LittleBigPlanet your Game of the Year 2009? Wrong! Go and pick a game that was released this year as our reader voting is now open [a neat, practical segue, bon - Ed].

I don't think they have licenced anything. It's just the way the EG story is written.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure they have the proper Pirates' license... it's a Sony picture after all?

Based on the trailer - water affects materials like gravity and will offer new gameplay possibilities. Hopefully the water level can be changed dynamicly within the level via switches etc.

I get the feeling that LittleBigPoTC will be a whole lot better than the last two movies.
