The sword swinging action - ie translating a one putton push into a simple movement off the wiimote, not making things gradual and analogue, just digital presses.
Always feels a little underwhelming. Arguably true, but equally arguably having any more complex controls (whether gesture based or 1:1 mapping) would be pointless. Me, I always loved being able to gave a little *shick* to draw the sword. |

i'm actually really looking forward to this as i've never played any TR games, despite knowing all too well that they're the type of game i'd really enjoy.
my only concern about this are the controls - wii controls have the tendency to either make or break a game, there's rarely ever any middle ground - so i'm just a little hesitant at the moment. does anyone know how the controls work? does Anniversary on other consoles require a lot of manual camera control? because i find wii games often seem to struggle with this, mainly when the A button and the D-pad need to be used in quick succession. (i'd say even the mighty Galaxy suffers on this point a little...) anyway, roll on those reviews! |
