Konami adds bikinis to MGO News

Konami has released a bikini patch for Metal Gear Online, which strips female characters of their cumbersome tops.

It's all been done in the name of the first anniversary celebrations for Metal Gear Online, which was released on 12th June, 2008 - the same day as Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

There's a video of MGO bikinis in action on vg247.

Metal Gear Solid activity came to a head at E3 earlier this month, when Hideo Kojima unveiled Metal Gear Solid: Rising - a brand new PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game - as well as Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for PSP.

Kojima will craft the PSP game himself, while playing a meddling producer role on MGS: Rising.

Oh good. Just when I think games are slowly trying to grow up, respected developers reinforce that teenage boys are the most important market after all, and do something like this.

I know for certain you have to if you made your character day 1.

I'd still be playing this if you could buy the add-ons on the PSN Store. I don't trust that Konami system, even though I'm sure you can use your PSN wallet at least. Not that added boobies sell games to me. I need those breasts to have been part of the game plan from the start!

Does anyone else know if any of the expansions are worth buying?

Er great bikinis thanks Konami. Intergration into PSN so I don't need to give out card number again and not having to do half hour updates whenever I seem to turn MGO on would entice me back to MGO more than teen market nudity TBH.

Namco had already charged for costumes in the disc. So had Capcom. Konami just needed their share of shameful DLC.

Gotta love japanese developers.
