Good stuff, really hoping for MGS5. As long as its not another PSP MGS I'll be happy (or an iPhone one of course)

I would think Snake eater except that Big Boss seems like he's old enough to be set after those events. Looks more like he did in metal gear 1, when snake has to kill him.
I'll wait and see as I'm not convinced I'll even like another metal gear game. MGS4 was far too little game and far too much cut scene for my tastes. I felt like I'd been robbed. |

Can this be anything other than a new MGS?
It could be the same old MGS on a new platform... ... or indeed a 'MGS 4 Substance' on both HD consoles, and possibly even PC. |

Does announcing a new MGS less than a year after the last really warrant this kind of stupidity? Just announce the fucking game and get on with it. If it were something other than MGS for PS3, that might actually be something to be excited about. But this... this is just annoying because it's nothing new or surprising.

Hopefully the acting won't be as hammy as in 4. If there's another crying scene I too, will weep. It will be at, rather than with, the character. Again.

Am I the only one who sees a skull in that emblem and not a landmass? (sort of side view with no lower jaw...)

It's not Solidus, he had the eye patch on the other eye. But to be honest, who cares if it is MGS5? who cares if its "The End" or if it's "Different". MGS4 was ment to be "The End" and "Different" but it turned out "Bad" and not because of the cutscenes! I enjoyed MGS4 all the way until the end where Snake didn't blow his brains all over the grave behind him! I wanted the end!! The complete end of Snake anyway. But Kojima chickened out of that didn't he...He sold out... MGS has just become a total farce storyline-wise for me now... So after viewing this news...I really couldn't care... I was hoping for something new really...Instead we have Metal Gear Halo 5 (I dislike Halo due to the so called "Trilogy" turning into a mong of side storys and ringing and MGS is just the same now) |
