Kane & Lynch dated

Plus Lara and Agent 47 chatter.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will be released on 23rd November in Europe following a 20th November launch across the pond.

That's the word in Eidos' mother-company SCi's latest financial results, which also state that Tomb Raider: Anniversary for Wii and Xbox 360 is now down for a "pre-Christmas launch".

The publisher also reiterated that sequels to Just Cause and Battlestations: Midway are in development, and to no one's surprise confirmed that Tomb Raider and Hitman sequels are also planned.

And, for those of you with a thing for DS title Pony Friends, it'll be clopping its hooves all over the Wii at some point in the future - as part of a line-up of DS and Wii titles for calendar-2008 that's 20 games strong.

Watch out for more on Eidos' upcoming games in the coming days!

I'm really looking forward to Kane and Lynch, from what i've seen it looks to be right up my alley.

Kane & Lynch looks quite interesting, but it is coming out at a bad time... ultimately Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect are going to own me in November!

Yes it's a bad time to release it with Mass Effect on the shelves and Uncharted (which is probably an easier sell for a third person action game) out a week later. Wait a bit and you'll be able to get K & L in the January sales for £10 less I reckon.

woohoo, new Hitman! Of course it was a given, but confirmation is a relief. Let's hope it's still being developed by IO, I really want to see them continue to develop this series as each iteration has gotten better, with Blood Money being one of my favorite games of 2006.

Oh come on dont all wait till they have to cut the price if it turns out good. If they dont make anything on it they wont bother with another one.

I guess they think that Mario and RPG gamers are a different crowd from co-op shooter gamers.

    They're wrong.

Although I thought the first game was a bit shonky, I'd quite like to see Just Cause 2.

Also, Kane & Lynch looks excellent (still a crap name though...). I just hope it sells better than the excellent Freedom Fighters.

'Oh come on dont all wait till they have to cut the price if it turns out good. If they dont make anything on it they wont bother with another one.'

Well it's a busy year and you can only play so many games at a time let alone find the money to actually buy them. I'm willing to bet money that any 360 owner who's remotely interested in Mass Effect will buy that before K and L.

Mind you, November 23 is my birthday ;-)
