Just Cause 2 DLC out today
Called Black Market Boom.
Just Cause 2 add-on Black Market Boom has been released on PC, PSN and Xbox 360.
This costs £1.60 on Steam, 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and $1.99 on PS3. Note that the European PlayStation Store will be updated later today.
Inside the Black Market Boom are three prototype weapons as over-the-top as the game they belong to. There's the Quad Rocket Launcher and the Cluster Bomb Launcher, as well as the Air Propulsion Gun that blasts jets of air powerful enough to send vehicles skywards.

Something I'm slightly miffed about is the cost of buying weapons and vehicles. For such a sandbox, fun-led experience, the cost of purchasing toys is enough to put you off doing it too often, which is a shame. Too often I think about buying some over-the-top vehicle to reach my destination but neglect it in favour of sky-hooking it or grabbing something local.

In 15 years of gaming, this is the first game i've bought DLC for. I believe they got it right - great fun, welcome additions and priced appropriately.

What I'd like to see is a low single use cost for a black market item and a higher unlimited use cost for the same item.

But to be honest once I completed the story missions I've moved off to other games such as RDR and a copy of inFamous I picked up for £9 at GAME.
I'd have liked to have seen some additional missions patched in... I don't expect cutscenes etc. but just something new to do.

I must agree with the comments in relation to the in game cost of these items, where I can see a justification for the cost when the single player has yet to be completed. Though when the game has been finished it makes no sense at all and seriously reduces the fun factor and worse of all the longevity!
I downloaded the last DLC, bought one of each item in game, died and lost my money - I've not returned to the game since, and now wonder should I download this DLC as I won’t be able to afford a single item in game!
(If it’s a black market, shouldn’t the first one be free!)
