Actually they're billing it as something that might actually be close to a mmo elite, but that might be hoping for too much.

I played the original Jumpgate for a while, when it first came out and I hope this one won't be just "jets in space" type combat.

this looks like the only recent space combat sim that might come close to rivalling x3. let's hope it lives up to its potential and it's crap like darkstar1, spaceforce, etc. etc.
