Juiced 2 multiplayer demo News

Xbox 360 News by Tom Bramwell

14 September, 2007

Those of you tuning up for the 28th September release of Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights can now try out the multiplayer in a new Live demo.

We've already had a Juiced 2 demo, as you know, but this 1.37GB effort emphasises the online element with support for up to eight players.

Which is good news for everyone outside Asia, where the demo isn't being distributed. As one commenter on Major Nelson's blog notes, isn't that where all the big tuner fans live? Indeed it probably is, but it's also where all the Xboxes aren't, so you can see their point.

For more on Juiced 2, why not check out our Juiced 2 preview? That's what it's there for.

Hopefully it's better than the last demo. Wasn't the original Juiced pretty decent?

The single player demo of Juiced 2 was mediocre enough, I don't think I want to play it online as well. Thanks but no thanks. :)

I remember the original game being very run of the mill average. The singleplayer demo from a few weeks ago was just, well...meh. The game doesnt scream "buy me!" to me and with all the other games coming out between now and crimbo i think will end up not being bought by a lot of people

I think you need to change the word Outside for Inside there.

I played the demo that came with this month's OXM, and to be frank, it fucking stunk, I hope PGR4 pounds it into the ground sales wise. (Yeah that's pretty much inevitable)
The game tries desperately hard to be all cool and what not, but it came off as friggin laughable.
It's target crowd, of 17 yr old boy racers, will probably love it and lap it all up though.

Some titles just make you stop and wonder at the futility of it all.

Surely between Forza, Dirt, PGR4 and Burnout this is really going to fall through the gap?

The strength of will in some dev teams must be immense to plug away at something for 18mnths which may not break even.

It's a shame you guys feel the need to slag it off so much, when you haven't even played the full game. It's like the game has slagged off your mother or something.

If you recognise that it's not aimed at you, and you're not within the target audience, then why waste energy having a dig at it?
