Jamie Foxx to star in Kane & Lynch film
He'll play Bruce Willis' other half.
Actor Jamie Foxx has signed up to star as one of the titular characters in the forthcoming Kane & Lynch film.
That's according to Variety, which reports Foxx will play Lynch to Bruce Willis' Kane.
In the movie the pair will have 72 hours to recover a doomsday device and save the world. They'll also need to rescue Kane's wife and daughter, who are being held hostage by the people who sprung them from jail.
Shooting is set to start in August. The film is being directed by Simon Crane, previously best known for being a stunt co-ordinator on movies like Mr & Mrs Smith and X-Men: The Last Stand. Kyle Ward, who also penned the script for the Uncharted film, is writing the screenplay.
The second videogame instalment in the series, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, is due to hit the shops on 27th August. Have a look at the gamepage for all our coverage so far.

In fact... that pairing could create a negative blackhole of on screen chemistry and acting ability that would invert the universe and make the movie good, while bringing about world peace.

This is almost as bad as when I heard he was being rumoured to play Frank Sinatra in his biopic... Yes, really! There was some twat quoted as saying something like, "yes, he's black - but cool transcends race!".

They've done it with Doom and Resident Evil and a whole slew of others and now they've done it with this. I don't give a toss about K&L but it still pisses me off that Hollywood rapes franchises instead of actually working with what they've just payed money for.
In this case, I thnk Kane & Lynch could have made a better movie than it did a game if they'd stayed close to the source material but as usual, they've pissed it all away.
