James Bond 007: NightFire Reader Review
Well overall i would say that i really liked this game.
Firstly the campaign mode offered a huge variety of action. From sniping from a helicopter, driving cars, even fighting in outer space (sweet!) I notice the official review says that you seem to breeze through it without knowing what you are doing. I suppose it does slightly but that shouldn't lower the game's score. The campaign includes many situations of combat, with usually many ways in which to tackle each engagement.
One of the main parts of the game that i enjoyed was the vast array of gadgets and guns that you would naturally expect a Bond game to have. There are snipers, classic and new hi-tech machine guns, a wide array of explosives. Also some other guns that i wont say in case i spoil it for you, but they are bad-ass.
Secondly was the multiplayer function. There is a wide variety of indoor and outdoor environments to choose from. My favourite is sky rail, in this you can ride inside a Cart that does laps around the map. Stock up your guns and ammo and see how long you can survive inside it lol.
There is a decent array of flexibility in multiplayer. Meaning that it is possible to turn on mounted guns, explosive scenery etc. You can also alter character abilities such as the AI bots accuracy and strength which allows you to create and play as many scenarios as you wish.
Also in multiplayer it allows you to play with the classic James Bond allies and villians such as Oddjob, Nic-Nac, Goldfinger, Wai-Lin, and the many James Bond heroines. My favorite character would definitely be oddjob, since if you run out of ammo you can throw his legendary hat, which kills an opponent instantly i might add.
Overall i would highly recommend this game to all fans of James Bond. The many guns and gadgets and variety of environments will keep you playing for many hours.
