iPhone Puzzle Quest fixed, expanding

All gratis from apologetic TransGaming.

TransGaming plans to offer the second iPhone chapter of Puzzle Quest as a free upgrade sometime during the coming weeks.

That adds around 20 more hours of gameplay and all for the price of GBP 5.99, which isn't half bad.

The move, along with a recently released patch, will help TransGaming win back the favour of the iPhone crowd. Many complained of smudgy text, game slowdown, tinny sounds and misaligned visuals cropped by the edge of the screen.

TransGaming will also offer a trial version of Puzzle Quest for iPhone and iPod Touch this week, according to Touch Arcade.

I picked this up recent and it plays great. Most recent patch cleared up a few speed issues on start up.

Glad a trial version is coming out. Would be nice to try it without bugs etc.

" Roll up! Roll up! Zealous anti-Apple haterz form an orderly queue please! Make sure you have references to trendy twats using laptops in poncey coffee shops standing by! "

Surely no-one needs to bother when there are self-loathing haters in your midst!

I bashed out a fair few hours on this over Christmas and really enjoyed it. All the problems mentioned in the article were very much present though and I'm glad to see they're going to be fixed for the next part.

More of it can only be a good thing.
