InFamous gets UK release date

It's out a bit earlier than planned.

Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that InFamous will launch in the UK on 29th May.

That's a touch earlier than previously thought - the company had stated the game would be released in June. Hooray!

In the US, InFamous will come bundled with a multiplayer beta key for Uncharted: Among Thieves. Sony's working on European plans, so here's hoping we'll get a similar deal.

In the meantime you'll find all manner of InFamous videos, screenshots and articles over on the gamepage.

    I presume this is to get the jump on Prototype, which looks quite similar.

    When I first saw/heard about this game I was pretty indifferent towards it.

    However from what I have seen of it over the past few months I can't wait for it to come out. It looks like a heap of fun, plus if what I have heard is true, a good/bad character development mechanism that does more than simply put a halo or a pair of horns above your charecter's head.

    Fingers are so tightly crossed for this to be good that it's actually painful to type this post! :o)

    looking forward to this game even though it is still looking like a 'hit or miss?' title. can only be good news that its ahead of schedule, lets just hope sony advertise this one.......
