Indie Games Arcade for EG Expo 09

The Eurogamer Expo 2009 will be a chance to to get your hands on the hottest titles from the mightiest publishers, naturally - but we'd be remiss if we didn't reflect our love of the indie games scene, too. So we're delighted to announce that the Indie Games Arcade will be returning to this year's Expo in October.

Organised with the help of Pixel-Lab, the Indie Games Arcade will be present at both the Leeds (27th and 28th October) and London (30th and 31st October) legs of the show, at the Saviles Hall and Old Billingsgate venues respectively.

There'll be over a dozen games on show at the arcade, including the work of Tunatech (currently working on claymation brawler Cletus Clay), Robert Fearon, Hayden Scott-Baron, Rudolf Kremers and Alex May (who are making the abstract strategy game Dyson), and self-styled "last of the bedroom programmers" Introversion of Defcon, Darwinia and Multiwinia fame.

As you can see at the Indie Games Arcade microsite, last year's line-up included 10/10-scoring hits World of Goo and Braid as well as the esoteric likes of War Twat and Off-Road Velociraptor Safari. You can expect the same mix of anticipated commercial indie titles and the most interesting and off-the-wall games we can find in 2009.
