Is this Nurburgring in TOCA Race Driver 2? Is it the same one? I haven't raced it yet but it sounds really good. 21km?

*drools...then runs off to find out*

It would seem that the Nurburgring is the new D3cAp17A710n5! ;)

At the back of the Prologue manual, there's a map of the Nürburgring (the Nordschleife), complete with names of all the sections.

I just fear the details will be really low, I can't see how they'd manage to squeeze a 21km track into the PS2 and maintain the same graphical quality of the much shorter tracks.

Still, \o/.

"It's the Nordslieffe circuit. Since PGR2 it looks like everyone wants it. It's in Forza Motorsport too. "

Anyone who remembers Grand Prix Legends will know where the track was first :) 8 1/2 minutes it takes on a GREAT lap... for mere mortals your talking 10 mins a lap... and with the GPL cars with such poor grip... I think today it still remains the ultimate driving challenge in videogames.

As someone mentioned in the forum, the Nürburgring is the ragdoll physics/lens flare of the driving games! =)

Is it me or does the Complex String in GT3 very slightly remind of Nürburgring? I watched a video of a Porsche driving a whole lap and there was something familiar about it: the long straight followed by a right hairpin and the rising/dropping succesive curves.
