Heres a different genre and plaform so lets compare them anyway medal Anyway looks interesting and for some reason makes me want to play the world ends with you for some dual screen contolling while I wait for this to hit. Why not compare it Half-Life? - I'm sure that had some professors in it - oh hang on, that's not on the DS, is it? "But there are some fundamental differences. Level-5's game is a point-and-click adventure bundled with a load of logic problems, not a platformer stuck on a Bejeweled clone." So..the comparison's completely redundant? |

But the titles are very similar and one could, if one had not read reviews and stalked the internet for facts, muddle the two quite easily. The comparison is adequate bordering upon useful.

In my defense even as sarcasm that is getting old and to even pick at my own reply they are both games in the same way the different genres of movies can be compared (in some cases) but I was thinking about this and figured if you looking at res 5 and not sure a person is hardly going to grab HHPA and say why not try this its just as good their going to get another thrid person action game like dead space

The puzzle game built into this is derived from Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/Puzzle League.
Incorrectly describing it as a Bejeweled/Puzzle Quest clone is a massive disservice to the gameplay of the puzzle mode, and undermines the credibility of the review altogether. It's like saying if you've played Checkers then Chess should be pretty familiar to you because it's played on a 8x8 board and some of the pieces attack diagonally. Seriously, what gives? |

Yeah, the review is pretty shoddy/vapid.
Ellie has a great and entertaining writing style, but it's rather worrying to find factual errors in some of her reviews. Anyway, I can really recommend the game. I'd definitely award a higher score than 7/10. While the characters look bland and unoriginal on paper, the little details really make the game great. I loved the boss fights especially, with really fun stuff like the second boss singing his own theme song while you're fighting him. Spoileriffic second boss link |
