David Cage has recognised the plot got out of hand at the end of Farenheit, but his hand was being forced by having to come up with something very quickly. Also... developers aren't really particularly good screenwriters, good screenwriters are good screenwriters. Hopefully he's recognised that and is working alongside someone who understands episodic television (rather than movies, as episodic television requires arcs over long periods of time and is suited to gaming).
Still, I also thought "bukkake orgy" when looking at one particular shot. But then I'm a dirty bugger. |

As I've said more than a few times on these pages, I found Fahrenheit to be a very mixed beast. Some of it was interesting and involving, but a lot of the dialogue was appalling, many characters were terrible stereotypes, and tbh a few of the game mechanics could have done with sorting out. I really want this next one to be great, just as I wanted fahrenheit to be great. Fingers crossed.

What. Fine, Olivia is not the lead character, but we have no idea whether this chick is either. Cage likes to have multiple playable characters (or at least character shells) in his games. Anyway, looking good. Can't wait to see the interface for this one, the one used in Fahrenheit was interesting, but less than perfect. Makes me sad that I won't get to play this for at least another couple of years, but hey... |

Er take a good look at the screenshots and count the number of other characters in them. Then explain to me why it's amazing to have great graphics with hardly anything else on screen. I'll wait to see what this game is actually about before I swoon over it. |

Pedrolot & Kenshin001 grow up! If it was funny it wouldn't even be bad but honestly you come across as half wit half-termers who have been left at home alone on the family PC whilst the 'rents still have to go to work.
If this game ever does come out then it certainly looks VERY promising! Would be nice to get more information about this but i feel like it's some time off from release yet. Ho hum! |

Typical eurogamer comment section. If this was on the 360, people would be creaming over it. Because it's on the PS3, they're going all "oh, it's pretty, so the gameplay must suck!" or "there's only one character on screen at a time! Shit graphics confirmed!". Lovely. You girls made my day! :) |

Cage has said some scenes would be taking place in locations such as shopping malls full of people, subway stations and so on. It will be interesting to see how those pan out.

To be fair if it was on the 360, it'd have better lighting and geometry than the rather flat dated faire we're presented with here. And Farenheight sucked arse, if anyone thinks making circles with your thumbsticks for no reason is "gameplay" then yeah you'll enjoy it, but it bored the crap out of me. Even the bonking section. |

I liked Fahrenheit but don't own a PS3... Will add it to the list of games to buy when the PS3 is a resonable price... Or if it gets a PC or 360 port in the meantime even better.
