They wanted her to star in the prequel prosthetic commando but her performance was deemed too wooden.

Six figure-sum?!?

Somebody really needs to take here down a peg or two. There's no way Capcom are going to foot the bill for that.

She must be really lagging behind in the news if she values herself that highly, I suggest she try pod... casting.

Can't think of anymore, I'm stumped...

If I touch her up but only with her fake leg, does that constitute a sexual assault?

After a marriage where she suffered continuous violent and sexual abuse from her husband I say Heather Mills should try to capitalise on her name. It failed this time of course, namely from Capcom being on the verge of bankruptcy.

Of course, this is all al-leg-edly.

Surely, this story is teetering on the edge of credibility?

I find this whole article a bit puzzling.

Heather Mills may be a bit of a nutter, and perhaps annoying, and perhaps also a bit vindictive.

But since when did that makes jokes about disabilities ok for an apparently professional website like EG? The Sun probably hate EG and their ilk, so christ knows what possessed them to start reprinting their "stories".

Chris Eubanks can be a bit of a dick sometimes, does that mean that EG would be cool with making racist jokes at his expense?

And from what I've seen of the trailers, that "Tonights' the night" show is yet another souless talent show, but would that justify wheeling out some homophobic jokes at John Barrowman's expense?

I'm no Heather Mills fan, far from it, but I find that casual way that people will mock her disabilities a little unsettling. The only excuse that I can fathom is that "everyone is doing it", or perhaps "she was asking for it". I wonder if that would wash with a landmine victim reading the same article. Maybe I am being over sensitive, and maybe they would laugh their socks off (ooh, do you see what I did there, how very dry... right?).

Ah, just realised the article was written by Ellie. Wish I could feel surprised.

This is getting faintly ridiculous. Seriously, do some proper work for a change. Its not even funny anymore.

With her millions, the impact of her "disability" is an inconvenience, nothing more. Its not like she's stuck with an ill-fitting NHS prosthesis and hence going to have trouble running for a bus!

Hell, are we supposed to feel sorry for people who wear dentures, and never make fun of their "disability" too?

@GreyBeard

"With her millions, the impact of her "disability" is an inconvenience"

That is irrelevant, and in some ways describes my point. An attack on Heather Mills that is personal to her may be valid, but an attack on her disability is NO LONGER just personal. Her disability is not the REASON people don't like her, so why use it as a weapon against her?... unless you feel her disability is a bad thing, to be attacked and mocked.

Lets take an example. You dislike someone, for valid reasons (lets say they hit their kids). Calling that person a child beating c*nt is fine, as that is their crime. If that person ALSO happened to be overweight, you might decide it is ok to call them a fat child beating c*nt. But in doing so you are basically saying "being overweight is a bad thing", because you are USING their weight as an insult against them. Anyone reading that attack will know that you consider excessive weight to be a bad thing, regardless of the target. Because you considered it a valid insult to use against ANY person.

Like I said in my example earlier, however much of a cock I might think Chris Eubank is, I would never think that levelling a racist insult at him would be acceptable because I'm not racist. And however much I thought that Tonight's The night Show was another show in a line of dross that is the scourge of modern television, I would not consider it ok to level a homophobic insult at the show's host, 'cos I'm not homophobic.

This article is making fun of someone's disability. Its not making fun of their odd behaviour during interviews, its not exclusively making fun of the suggestion that they are a gold digger, it is not exclusively making fun of the suggestion that they have an inflated sense of self worth. It is mocking also their disability.

I don't know how else I can make myself clear really. I hope you take my point.

Well why not? If someone who wears dentures rips you off, then call them a conartist motherf*cker by all means. And if they shoot your cat, find an equivalent appropriate insult. Whether they have false teeth or not is beyond irrelevant, and also not something you would use to attack them with UNLESS you thought dentures were universally worthy of derision.

Hahaha!

The leg jokes thus far have been mighty lame. But copious of alcohol have nonetheless made them entertaining.

I have no idea what made her think she can justify a 6 figure sum for her role in the game. She'll only spend it on handbags and a shoe.
