Hawx for PC delayed by one week News

PC News by Ellie Gibson

5 March, 2009

The PC version of Tom Clancy's Hawx has been delayed by one week.

That means it'll now hit the shelves on 20th March. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, however, are still on track for a release this Friday.

In Hawx, you play as plucky hero Tom Clancy as he tries to work his way up through the ranks from amateur bird fancier to falconer to the Queen. There's an exclusive downloadable bonus mission for the Xbox 360 where Tom Clancy must train a barn owl to deliver the rings at Rio Ferdinand's wedding.

Check out the gamepage if you don't believe us.

I just bought the PS3 version an hour ago. If it's just almost as good as Ace Combat 6 (minus the toecurlingly embarrassing dialogue and storyline) I'll be happy - AC6 is one of the very few games I've ever actually finished.

Yeah, I saw a trailer where two fighter pilots shot down a missile in mid-air that was headed for Air Force One!!1! It was so embarrassingly, nauseatingly bad I lost all interest in this product.

If you were referring to my comment, I was talking about Ace Combat 6 when I mentioned "toecurlingly embarrassing dialogue and storyline". Though I'm sure HAWX isn't going to win any awards in those categories either :).
