How do you grow crops in a DESERT?!?

It means deserted rather than a desert, I think.

The game's not bad, as it goes. One of the better main Harvest Moon games in recent years, and surprisingly bug free compared to some of their recent output. It's not as good as Rune Factory, but for a "proper" HM game, it's good.

I'm currently playing Magical Melody and really enjoying it, much more focus on actual farm work unlike It's A Wonderful Life for example.

HM has really lost it's magic for me. There's far more joy to be had growing veg in Viva Pinata these days.

    Sorry HM:(

no this is un updated version to our days. in the desert you have to find petrol and have to build a petrol distribution network. when you get enough money with that, you can choose to change your business from west to north and get to be invaded by the west. then you have integrate your petrol network with the west and organize terror attacks.

Might be one for my Mrs, that is is she ever stops playing Civ ds. The amount of hours she has put into that.

I wouldn't bother, innocent life doesn't even have the social aspect, it's just pure farming. I have every harvest moon since the ps1, and innocent life was by far the worst.

OK then Hunam, care to tell us which DS version (including all that are out in the US and Japan to if you are familiar with them) is the best?

Woo, can't wait! I love me some obsessive compulsive Harvest Moon gaming. ;o)
