Hamill, Conroy to voice DC Universe
TV and Arkham's Batman and Joker return.
Sony Online Entertainment has announced that Mark Hamill will voice The Joker and Kevin Conroy will play Batman in its superhero MMO, DC Universe Online.
The pair are more than familiar with the roles, having played the Gotham antagonists in classic cartoon Batman: The Animated Series as well as Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum game last year. You might also know Hamill from some space films he made in the seventies and eighties.
The rest of the cast is a who's who of geek TV. Joining Hamill and Conroy will be Adam Baldwin, of Firefly and Chuck fame, as Superman; Gina Torres (Firefly, Alias, Angel) as Wonder Woman; James Marsters, best known as Billy Idol sorry Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as Lex Luthor; and Michelle Forbes, who recently appeared in True Blood and Battlestar Galactica as well as the excellent In Treatment, as Circe.
SOE opened beta registration for both the PC and PS3 versions of DC Universe Online the other day. Both versions are due out in November.
