Halo Wars release date pinned down
Europe gets it days ahead of US.
Microsoft has confirmed exact release dates for its 360 strategy game, Halo Wars - and the original prediction of February was only half-right.
Halo Wars will release in Japan and Asia on February 26th, in Europe on February 27th and in North and South America on March 3rd.
Pre-order the game at a participating retailer and you'll get an exclusive in-game Warthog with flame decals, whether you buy the Limited Edition or not.
You'll find more Halo Wars information, including hands-on impressions, at the Halo Wars gamepage.

Err.... when you pre-order the price automatically is adjusted when it gets reduced in price.

As mentioned, the price is adjusted. I know with Amazon, they only charge you when the item is dispatched, and they have a "pre-order guarantee" meaning if the price changes between when you ordered it and when it is sent, you pay the lowest price between those dates.

I tend to prefer pre-ordering at the point I am happy with the price, as there is no guarantee/legal requirement that a retailer (other than Amazon perhaps) has to pass any reduction in price onto anyone pre-ordering at a given point in time.
