Pick them up for 20 quid a pop.

Microsoft has made two new additions to the Classics collection of Xbox 360 software.

First up is Fable II, Lionhead's hit role-playing game. The Classics edition comes complete with Knothole Island and See the Future add-ons.

Or you can have a go at strategy title Halo Wars and control your very own armies of Spartans and Warthogs. The Classics version is bundled with a card so you can download the Strategic Options Pack and Historical Battle Map Pack.

Or use a site likes Gamestracker and find them both for around 13 quid anyway.

Never saw the point in these budget ranges...

There getting quite keen on this arn't they. The prices are still way off, and the totally overpriced HD's don't help either. But neither of these games are really that old, I can see retailers starting to pull there faces at this rate!

I'm pretty sure I paid that much for Fable 2 the first time round. Amazing what deals Game does before they realise a game is good. I definitely got Fallout 3 (360) from them for Ł19.99 only a couple of weeks after release.

I got Fable 2 GOTY for Ł20 last year due to a convenient sale. Not a bad price, but I do prefer having cases that don't have budget labels all over them.

@siro..they certainly need to make the episodes cheaper,i think they are 900 points each at the moment(first episode is free of course)....so 4 more episodes at 900 points each,is pretty much about 30 -35 quid i think..so who would go that way,if they can just get the game now on demand for 20 notes(and still prolly cheaper in the shops)

That's the regular version of Fable II, the one here on Live is the GoTY version which includes all of the DLC. Most sites are still selling that one for Ł30.

Halo Wars is less than a year old FFS - it's a great game, but it doesn't deserve to be relegated to the "classics" bin just yet.
