not my type of game, never apreciated the "Halo" franchise..., i expect killzone 2 to be mutch more beliavable in terms of dynamics.
Anyway i might give it a try in my 360_ rental.

10/10 but the game is said to be "flawed"?

The notion of a 10/10 score is ridiculous to me - it's like saying the game is perfect and can never be surpassed, quite literally because there is no room to award a higher score to any future title.

I find it funny how the review makes a point of not talking about all the hype and baggage associated with Halo, then goes on to describe Halo 2 as brilliant, even though this very site tore to shreds the PC version of the game, which is the only version that didn't have all the hype baggage attached to it.

I'll play through this in coop with my flatmate, not expecting much since I didn't think much of the previous ones, but I'll see how it goes.

I should have mentioned somewhere in the article that the first person to claim that 10/10 means a game is perfect is going to have their trousers filled with vicious wasps.

Heh! This will be a busy thread.

The score is rather irrelevant to me though. When I finally get a 360 I would have bought this game regardless of the reviews.

It shouldn't have got a 10 though, since no game can be perfect.

If no game can get a 10, why have a 1-10 rating system? As the 10, according to some of you, can never be achieved. So surely it should be a 1-9 system, but then if a game got 9, surely then that would be perfect....
Most of us don't expect a 10 to be utter perfection, without a single flaw, but we expect it to be up there, quality wise, with the greats in its genre.
