Earth orbits sun.

The full soundtrack for Halo 3 will be in shops later this month, which is about as surprising as doing your teeth.

Officially the US will get it on 20th November, while retailer Amazon believes we will have it on 26th November. Microsoft Europe was unavailable to comment, helpfully.

The two-hour soundtrack contains some really rather impressive music from Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori, which has been recorded by a full orchestra and voices of real people who can sing.

It is one of the most memorable scores from one of this year's biggest games, and we had a chance to talk to O'Donnell about it at the Videogames Live concert held recently as a part of the London Games Festival.

I actually think the music is one of the things I love MOST about Halo* - so good news!

*/Is a recent convert, having played through Halo 1 and 2 in the past few weeks and just started Halo 3 this weekend. For the record, I though Halo 1 wasn't that good, Halo 2 was good and so far, Halo 3 is excellent!

/hates The Flood. In all the games.

Some of the tracks really put other games to shame (this is the hour, Farthest outpost, Follow our brothers, etc.). Also nice to see that the names of the songs follow the naming of the other games.

I thought the music, much as the game was good. Hardly memorable though, I cant recall a single tune. Mind you, I only played it through the once on medium and a couple multiplayers and havent really been back since.
Wouldn't mind going back some time and playing through co-op though.

You know technically that is not true. The earth orbits around the center of gravity of the solar system and that is, because of the extreme weight of the sun, very close to the sun

Absolutely adore the Halo music. Easily the best I've ever heard in a game. Only Guild Wars and [for pretty obvious reasons] some of the Star Wars games come close.

I'm sorry but whoever says halo has no memorable tracks is nuts.
