Guitar Hero World Tour for PC/Mac

This summer with wireless instruments.

Activision has had Aspyr Media adapt Guitar Hero World Tour for PC and Mac.

The desktop versions are due out this summer and arrive with their own wireless controllers. There's no pictures or details of these, but we assume they more or less mirror their console cousins. Inbreds.

Guitar Hero World Tour on PC/Mac doesn't let users trade their home-made content, however, and Kotaku adds that DLC support has been neither confirmed nor denied.

Otherwise, all the features of GHWT on console will be faithfully reproduced. Aspyr Media handled the PC and Mac adaptation of Guitar Hero III, so everything should be up to scratch.

If anything, music sharing and DLC should be at the forefront of these releases.

it may not sell well but its really only a software port that needs to be done, GH3 just used the 360 xplorer and I would imagine this will be the same, the 360 band kit with the wireless receiver chucked in the box.

I have GH3 on my PC and imported all the tracks from 1,2, 80's into it so I don't have to get my PS2 out to play them anymore(and use my wireless guitar).

I still play GH3 and world tour on my 360.

So what's the story with GHWT? Is it as much fun to play as GH3 with only one (or two) guitars?

I don't have friends who would want to come round and sing in my living room, so really I just want a sequel to GH3. Will this do the trick?

it will, just keep hold of your gh3 guitar. ive had 4 drumkits all fucked and my guitar will not play notes, altho it registers the buttons and strum bar fine (just doesnt play the notes as they should appear)

being a pc game it should have custom songs tho! and the option for midi instruments!

My GH3 guitar is already broken - someone spilt beer or something on it and now the buttons are all sticky :)

I used a keyboard for ages, and actually got better scores with it, but now I use my brothers X360 guitar.
