There's no way actual real people can do that song, let alone do it well.

I'm calling shenanigans, this whole thing is a hoax set up by those Free Education rotters to get publicity and money to fund their evil schemes.

Why don't other games get news like this? I don't remember seeing an article when MaxX Unlimited was first AAA'ed, for example.

And in the real world, that's impossible. Even if you are the guitarist from Thunderforce playing it on a real guitar, you'd only get 800,000 max.

He must of wasted a lot of his time practicing. He could of done something much more important, like platting his nose hair for example

Probably Activision trying to cover the fact that Rock Band is released today. Wouldn't surprise me.

Education is freedom? surly that a bad thing right? it will lead to them getting ideas above their station, they will become unhappy with their lot and look to over throw the ruling 1337. have these people never seen conquest of the planet of the apes?

No actually they're extremely 360 biased. Why else would they mention he got the world record - on the 360!

@ duffking - it aint a record unless norriss mcwhirter is there to varify it - those score could be acheived using hacks or octopii

I guess, but they're really well known names 'in the community.' A few of them have gotten 100% on Jordan for example. As far as I'm aware star power doesn't work with hacks anyway so those scores would be impossible with them.

Noone notices that still its just a game? I rather had a son and be awarded for talented using a real electric quitar like a champ than a fake one with no strings :p btw yeah the game itself is somethign anyone can actually enjoy once they get into it. I didnt expect it myself to like it. But this with the records is just crazy!

"Three words in relation to this player: Get a life."

The irony of someone writing on an internet video games forum that someone else should get a life because they play video games just never gets old. To many out there, every single one of us needs to get a life. Shades of grey my friend, shades of grey.

Being excited about games is not different to being excited about sports or carpentry or cars. Everyone has something they love and it just happens to be Guitar Hero for some. It's stupid to think someone needs a life just because you don't care for that.

"The idea was to drum up awareness for Education is Freedom, a non-profit foundation that does something to do with children. We didn't bother to learn."

Wel, damnit, guys, I mean, for once games are linked with something really non-controversial, even positive beyond any doubt and the largest European gaming website doesn't bother to even make the token effort and just type up the official party line of the foundation, possibly actually raising awareness or interest of someone reading...
