For PS3 and 360 this month.

Activision is set to offer seven new songs in various downloadable content packages during December on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

A Warner/Reprise Track Pack is being prepped, and set to include Linkin Park's "No More Sorrow", Mastadon's "Sleeping Giant" and The Used's "Pretty Handsome Awkward", all based on master recordings.

Single-song downloads are also planned from "European bands", including Extremoduro's "So Payaso", Trust's "Antisocial" and Die Fantastischen Vier's "Ernten War Wir Säen".

Finally, Activision is set to release a free "exclusive rock rendition" of "We Three Kings" recorded by Steve Ouimette.

Pricing for the others has yet to be specified, but track packs typically cost 500 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace and USD 6.25 on the PlayStation 3 Store.

So, look out for those soon. We've asked Activision for more details (and details on when PS3 owners can expect some of the other DLC already out on Xbox 360), and hope to hear back soon.

Completed (except the last battle) GH3 over the weekend and the track list is pretty weak although I did know a lot more of the artists compared to GH2. However this doesn't make the songs good or fun to play. The addons also sound pretty weak to be honest.

Oh and the song by Die Fantastischen Vier is called "Ernten Was Wir Säen"

I downloaded the Foo Fighters pack. The songs are great, but the song layout is too difficult for me on medium to be enjoyable.

Trust's "Antisocial"

Woot! Only French speakers probably know the original but it's one of those classic songs that everyone who was a kid / teenager in the 80ies pretty much knows.

It's also a very good song with some fun guitar bits.

I'd actually been wishing for it to appear in one of the games some day. My wish has come true.

Games like Rock band are made for the X factor generation. People who can't sing for shit but want to inflict their hideous voice on other people. For some reason they can't see that they totally suck and should never open their mouths again. Yet they want to go on TV and sing. People like that don't deserve to live.

You will buy Rock band, you will suck and people around you will have to put up with your retarded ways, yet you will be oblivious to it all. You are afterall generation X factor.
