Guilty Gear sequel for 360
Into the realms of 3D action.
Developer Arc Systems Works has taken the wraps off a Guilty Gear sequel for Xbox 360.
But this time it will be a 3D action strategy offering we're treated to, according to Japanese magazine Famitsu - rather than the traditional 2D fighting fiasco.
Guilty Gear 2 Overture puts you in the shoes of Sol Badguy and challenges you to destroy an entire enemy base. With your fists. Chuck Norris could.
Apparently you'll move troops around a tactical map in a real-time strategy fashion, but when you encounter enemy troops you'll find yourself in a 3D action punching-kicking scenario - where you'll be able to pull off all the over-the-top moves synonymous with the series to date.
Overture is reckoned to be around 80 per cent complete, and will apparently feature Live support in one form or another. But don't get your hopes up just yet. We expect Japan to be treated to it first, followed by the US - and don't forget the last stages of development always take the longest anyway.
But we'll keep our eyes peeled for more information as it appears.
