GTA IV Special Edition pics
Quite the duffel bag.
Rockstar has released details of the Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition due to launch alongside the vanilla versions in October and contain both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the highly anticipated game.
As you can see in our handsome Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition photo gallery, those of you willing to cough up USD 89.99 (European pricing TBC) the two games will be packaged in a special safety deposit box.
You'll also get an art-book, a Rockstar keychain for the safety deposit box keys, a Rockstar duffel bag and a special soundtrack CD exclusive to the bundle "featuring new material from top artists".
It's all being put together in time for the game's release in the US on 16th October, with the same deal likely in place for the 19th October launch in Europe. For more on GTA IV, check out our PS3 and Xbox 360 gamepages.
And of course be sure to check back tomorrow evening when the latest GTA IV trailer - "Searching for that Special Someone" - will air for the first time.

I don't mind paying an extra fiver for a limited/collector's edtion in a tin case with a making of DVD/book whatever but I draw the line at paying an extra £20 for useless extras like a sports bag and lockable safety box or even Master Chief's bloody helmet for that matter!!! No doubt the publishers love 'em as it's a way of making even more money.

each in his own package, not both in the same one.
that's what the pics imply, and that's my understanding.

Yeah, so basically £89.99 then....
edit: After actually looking at the screenshots, I can't help but think what a pain in the arse that lockbox thingy will be. Lovely design on the whole though, and an refreshingly different idea regarding LE packaging. But knowing my luck I'll somehow manage to lose the key, and along with it access to my game
