GTA episodes live on PSN tomorrow
Plus: Final Fight! Sam & Max! Skate 3 demo!
Sony has updated the PlayStation shops with all manner of treats - and the promises of the GTA IV downloadable episodes, which are both due to go live tomorrow.
The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony will be sold for £13.99 apiece. They're also sold in the boxed Episodes from Liberty City package in shops.
As you may remember, the first episode thrusts you into the rugged, grain-filtered world of a biker fraternity, inviting you to arc gracefully through the streets of Liberty City while moaning about life and reluctantly getting neck-deep into the drugs and murder bizniz.
The latter, meanwhile, is the more upbeat and openly hilarious tale of a nightclub impresario and your attempts to keep him on the vaguely straight and narrow via explosive-shelled shotguns, base-jumping out of helicopters and cheerily puerile conversation.
Elsewhere on the PS3 store today you can choose from Final Fight: Double Impact and Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - The Penal Zone, or have a crack at the Skate 3 demo. You can also save money on Trine, reduced to £7.99 / €9.99 from now on, and the Demons of the Badlands pack for Red Faction: Guerrilla, which is now available for £6.29 / €7.99.
There are also new PSP/PS3 minis, Abe's Oddysee joins the PSone range, and there are some discounts and offers listed on the PlayStation Blog. One of them sees British-made PSN shooter Gravity Crash reduced to four quid, so that might be worth a look.
You can also check out that link for the music game content update, and there are also posts about VidZone and the Digital Comics Store.

Has anyone played gravity crash before? Is it better/worse than pixeljunk shooters (which was pretty amazing)

For the minus one person - Its a comment on the fact that Digital distribution is slower than buying the disc version. The game is on my sofa at home waiting for me. It arrived this morning.

well, the pc version may be cheaper, but in terms of DLC i'd hardly call the episodes a ripoff, since you get quite substantial value out of both. 3 multiplayer maps for 10 quid, now that's a ripoff

Yup - I missed out on that by downloading them on the 360. If I had've known that they were going to be released on disc I would never have gone the DLC route.
