The game mode with 'chutes is gonna be interesting. I wonder how that works. Looking forward to it a lot.

Recently started playing a bit of GTA multiplayer, I can't say I'm impressed with how laggy it is. I can't remember it being as bad back when it launched? Maybe I've just had some dodgy hosts. I hope it's not a problem when this new DLC is released.

Rockstar: sort out your lack of game lobby, sort out yer matchmaking, sort out your 'disconnected, returning to single player' nonsense, then maybe I'll think about getting this. You need to make it easy and quick to get into a multiplayer match, not fiddly, time consuming and cumbersome.

I never really got into the GTAIV multiplayer.

It was fun to jump into a free game and mess around having boat chases, fist fights ontop of high buildings, etc. But I can't believe anyone would do the deathmatches or races seriously.

Odd, I can't say I've come across any lag when I've played GTA online, and I usually play in large games of free mode.

Parachutes and cars with nitrus are going to be a lot of fun!

Any games I've gotten into haven't had much lag, but I frequently get a 'returning to single player' screen. Why can't it just stay in multiplayer - who thought that if a player can't find a mp game they're going to want to load up single player again? Don't rockstar have testers to tell them this shit sucks?

And I have a 20MB line (UK), and play mostly online games, halo, battlefield, cod, etc with no lag or disconnnection issues, there is somethign wrong with GTAIV.

GTA's multiplayer could do with having a group based challenge mode like Burnout Paradise has. It'd be great if the game told everyone to meet at a specific point - then told them all to race to point x and climb up building y. winner gets $1000 and a weapon or item of clothing, etc.

There could be quite a bit of variety on a mode like this in GTA IV.
